My Story

I am passionate about the wellbeing of others. I have spent over 25 years of my life as a trained psychotherapist helping clients better their lives. I have had the advantage of training with nationally recognized professionals in the field of relationship transformation.  Although I have great respect for therapy, I have found that many individuals don’t need psychotherapy, but benefit most from coaching.

None of us go through this life unscathed.  I am no exception.  I know what it is like to face struggles and know how overwhelming change can be.

I have grown immensely in my personal journey and I believe my experience in therapy and coaching has allowed me to face transitions with more clarity and confidence. Now, I want to help others on their path towards transformation.

Living a satisfying life is not out of reach for you. You can take control of your life. You just have to take the first step: Ask for help.

My Values & Beliefs

Change Is Possible

Change is possible but not guaranteed. You have to make change happen. It doesn’t just happen overnight. You have control over your situation and over your life. Put in the effort and you will see results.

People Are Resilient

From first-hand experience, I know how strong we are as people. With the right support system and belief in yourself and your capabilities, you can bounce back from anything. You can come back even stronger.

You Must Become Your Own Hero

You can’t wait for someone to save you. You have to do for yourself what needs to be done. Be your own role model of strength and bravery for your own wellbeing. Only you can be the best version of yourself.

My Approach

I tailor my interactions using a wide array of techniques I’ve gained through decades of experience. I do incorporate the philosophy of Internal Family Systems. This is a popular method used by life coaches to help clients discover their true selves. It is important to live from your center being; the person you are when everything else is wiped away. The self is the grinding principle that keeps you steady when life gets crazy. Internal Family Systems reveals the multiplicity of life and the endless world within ourselves. I have extensive knowledge of this methodology from my work in psychotherapy and believe it is crucial to my work as a life coach.  IFS relies on the 8 Cs. You Can Learn More About Them Here. It teaches you to be resilient and compassionate towards yourself. It also provides invaluable information in understanding the dynamics with significant others. Overall, it can give you the information needed to live a more fulfilling life.

I use many modalities to help individuals and couples (See approach under the ‘Philosophy’ tab for more specifics). I have spent decades in study finding the best of the best in order to provide families the support they deserve. I am passionate about helping couples and families stay together if possible, and am adamant about providing the tools for their success.
